Hi! The order of games is? I played the Clear Sky four times, but i need to know more about the universe of the game… And i need play in the order for a more easy understanding!

A subreddit to discuss the video game series S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - including Shadow of Chernobyl (SoC), Clear Sky (CS) and Call of Pripyat (CoP).

I've been having some fun with the latest release of free-play CoP mod Call of Chernobyl. I would like to make use of some cheats and get unlimited money, stamina, etc. I haven't had any luck with CoP trainers I've found online. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks fro your help!

There is no need for God of the Zone mod. CoC has it's own spawn and debug menu. Simply add -dbg to shortcut to run game in developer mode. Then press 'S' in main menu to bring up the CoC debug menu. It has a spawner and you can type money <amount> into the debug console there.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is a first-person shooter (with heavy role-playing game elements) video game released on PC only. It was first announced by Ukrainian game developer GSC Game World in 2001 and eventually released in 2007, after six years of waiting by loyal videogame fans. It is largely inspired by a cult film Stalker directed by Andrei Tarkovsky as well as original novel The Roadside Picnic by Strugatski Brothers on which the film was based. The game itself was successful on both domestic and international game markets. Developers really traveled to Chernobyl to gain inspiration for the game and get ideas for production design.

Weapons degrade and jam over time, and must eventually be replaced. Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat feature mechanic characters who repair weapons and upgrade their performance. Most weapons are capable of mounting various attachments, though many of them are disabled in the configuration files for balance reasons. NPCs are capable of using any weapons available to the player, though the default AI cannot use attachments and tends to eagerly commit suicide if equipped with explosive weapons.

The Beretta 92FS appears in the game as the "Martha". The Beretta was originally intended to be a common sidearm among mercenaries in the cut Dead City level. In the final game it appears only once, carried by a Duty member who must be rescued from bandits in the Dark Valley. Due to an erroneous configuration parameter, the Beretta's condition degrades absurdly fast. Beretta pistols appear regularly in Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat . In the latter, if not in the others as well, it can be modified to fire in full auto.

The long awaited patch for Call of Chernobyl is finally here. The mod has seen a tremendous amount of growth and change since 1.3.2; we have been working hard this year to bring the stalker community this new content in the form of the 1.4 update. This patch contains so many changes it would be rather difficult to go through that list here but below is a brief overview.

One of the first things to notice when firing up 1.4 are the changes to the PDA statistics screen. Many new stats are tracked and a portion of screen real estate is now dedicated to the top 100 leaderboard. Climb to the top of the leaderboard by increasing rank in-game and by being the stalker you were always meant to be. Hovering the cursor over other stalkers in the list may bring up their statistics but only after they have been encountered on the same map. Not only has the statistics screen seen an overhaul, but a new array of achievements have been added.

It's now possible to select from a broad array of faction-specific starting location. Additionally, the ability to select a character portrait has been added alongside a new game option to display a portrait that closely matches the equipped outfit. If you thought that was all, we added an optional story mode feature which can be toggled during character creation. It has a light dialog-driven focus and includes multiple endings. The task starts with a simple puzzle to find Doc and takes you on a journey throughout many of the game levels to discover the mysteries of the Zone.

The game is set in the Chernobyl exclusion zone which turned from a destiny-breaker place into a threat to all mankind. The Zone is reluctant to open up its mysteries and needs to be forced to do it. It is a rare hero who can reach the very heart of the Zone onto find out what danger awaits him there.

A danger which, compared to marauders and enemy groupings, all monsters and anomalies, will seem a mere preparation to the meeting with something more fatal and threatening.

But for now… get ready, hero. Collect artefacts and trade, grope your path and keep an eye on the rear, catch roentgens and fight – only make sure you survive! And then, perhaps, if you are persistent and truly lucky, you will find out why all this had fallen on you.
